Please if you are having difficulties, contact Myself on 0418 399917 or the Chaplains at "Chaplaincy Australia". these blokes are here to help the speedway community in any way they can.

In Melbourne contact Mark Bateman, 0412 151121. or Colac/Geelong area, Noel Mitaxa, 0414 776789.

They will be in attendance at our next meeting early in the day, so please if you feel the need to talk to someone, or require councelling, give us a ring, any time. or come see them.

It has also come to my attention, there were 4 guys who initially stopped the vehicle and pulled Max out and started CPR untill the Paramedics arrived, Please accept my apology for not thanking you earlier, and accept it now, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

It is with the deepest sympathy I have in writing this update.

Unfortunately last night, just prior to the race meeting starting, a tragic accident occured in the spectator area, where a parked vehicle rolled forward, and crushed a young child, unfortunately all efforts to revive the little fella failed, Our track Paramedic, Ian Showell, led a team of local Paramedics to work on the boy for nearly an hour, but he was unable to be saved.

Our Heart felt sympathies go out to Aaron, Sam, Lachlan, & Cooper Trotter, on this heartfelt tragedy.

I would like to thank all drivers, crew & spectators who donated their entrance fee back to the club, as it will be forwarded onto the family.

Special thanks to all our officials who helped with the incident.

Rest In Peace Max.

If you would like to donate, all donations will be forwarded to the family.

Make cheque or money order out to BSDC, send to PO Box 235, Corio, 3214

The meeting was cancelled, all programmed events will be rescheduled for a later date.
